You can set up and use workflows that connect business-process tasks performed by different users. System tasks, such as automatic posting, can be included as steps in workflows, preceded or followed by user tasks. Requesting and granting approval to create new records are typical workflow steps. Your workflows are always just a swipe away. Workflows can be constructed from built-in activities as well as from custom activities. The workflow models a number guessing game. To put it simply, a “ workflow ” is how you get work done. It’s a series of tasks you need to complete in order to reach some repeatable business goal. The key word here is repeatable. The workflow shouldn’t be confused with a task (a one-time to-do), or a bunch of tasks bulked together (that’s a project).
